Quinta do Montalto in Ourém near Fátima has been in the Gomes Pereira family for five generations.   The portfolio smacks of strong family values, encompassing bag-in-box, talha and DOC Medieval de Ourem wines from vineyards certified organic since 1997.  Respect for nature and tradition are at the heart of the estate-sourced range, also ‘Uncondemned,’ the label which the family developed with their UK importer and neighbouring growers to help preserve pre-phylloxera 150 year-old ‘backyard’ vineyards.
