Medium-sweet, with delicate nuances of honey, dried yellow plums, orange peel, green almonds and smoky oak. Lingering acidity gives line and length.

Handpicked grapes from Calheta and Cª de Lobos were rigorously sorted in the winery. After fermentation and fortification, the wine was transferred to age and develop in used cognac, brandy and Sherry casks for 5 years, using the traditional “canteiro” process.
